Students in the accounting program can take majors in public accounting and general accounting, and those with a strong academic record can take an accelerated, combined BBA and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in public accounting that can be completed in as little as four years, including two summer semesters. The finance major is designed for students interested in investment or corporate finance. The management program offers concentrations in hospitality and tourism management, human resources management, business management and entrepreneurship. The information systems major equips students with the tools and techniques essential for careers in telecommunications and database management. The interdisciplinary international management major uniquely focuses on a geographical region: Asia, Europe or Latin America. The management science major focuses on strategic mathematical and scientific methods for solving business problems and requires a math minor. Marketing majors may choose from concentrations in marketing management, international marketing, advertising and promotion, and e-business and interactive media. All Pace students complete a 60-credit liberal arts and science general education core, including courses in writing, communication, mathematics and sciences. Business students also complete a 33-credit business core. Qualified business students may study for up to one year at schools in over 35 countries, including France, England, Spain and Japan.

Pace University was established in 1906 in New York's financial district, primarily training students in business and accounting. The institution was granted college status in 1948, and the Pleasantville/Briarcliff campus was established in 1963. Pace was granted university status in 1973 and established a law school in 1975. Today, six schools and colleges offer instruction in arts and science, business, computer science and information systems, education, nursing and law. The university educates students with interdisciplinary, global and multicultural perspectives. Pace is noted for its large cooperative education program. One-third of last year's co-op students received permanent job offers from their co-op employers.
More than 90 student organizations help new students establish friendships or explore academic, social, career or cultural interests. Pace sponsors a nationally known Model United Nations Team, in which Pace international students act as model ambassadors representing their home countries. Pace's chapter of Beta Alpha PSI has achieved Superior Chapter Status for its professional and community service activities every year since its founding in 1996. Pace's varsity teams include men's baseball, football, basketball and lacrosse and women's basketball, softball and tennis. The New York city campus is near the Brooklyn Bridge and only a five-minute walk from the New York Stock Exchange and Chinatown. As a financial and cultural capital of the western world, New York offers world-class art galleries, shopping and entertainment. New York is a multilingual city with the largest international population of any US city. Forty minutes north from the New York campus is the serene, suburban campus of Pleasantville/Briarcliff.
